Turning relevant SDGs into business actions
The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals provide a broad framework for discussing economic, social and environmental priorities. For a manufacturing or service organisation, useful learning connects selected goals with actual impacts, responsibilities and measurable activities.
Begin with a process or value chain rather than selecting every goal for a presentation. Explain why a goal is relevant, what the organisation can influence and which evidence would demonstrate progress. Referencing an SDG is not UN endorsement or proof of a positive impact.
