Introductory food-safety awareness
The Highfield Level 1 International food-safety title is a starting point for introductory awareness. A useful brief should identify the food-handling environment and the simple responsibilities participants need to recognise, including hygiene, contamination concerns and reporting.
Catering, manufacturing and retail examples differ. Describe the work and the learner’s role so the exact current qualification specification and assessment can be checked. This overview does not establish competence to manage a food safety system or replace a site induction.
